Listen to an audiobook read by Patrick Tull and you'll never again have a problem understanding the accents.
First time I ran into him as a reader I had to start over after the first two CDs to catch everything. Now that I get it I wish I could speak as such.

"Hot Fuzz" is freakin hilarious. I have had the opportunity to view it through a friend who acquired it recently. Not the best "end product" as far as what he has, but I am definitely going to see it again in theaters.
I would suggest every cop, who loves action movies, go see it. I warn that the first 20 or so minutes are a little slow, but gives you time to start trying to figure out the plot, and the last 30 minutes, well let's just say go to the bathroom before then.
Whether you are british or not, it is awesome!!!!! And if you work in, or have worked in a small town, 5000 or less population, then you will be able to identify, but especially if you've made the move from a larger city to the small town.
Enjoy!

Fuzz, if I'm correct comes from the derrogatory comparison term of cops being pigs. The fuzz is supposed to be an even worse term as it relates to the fuzz or hair on a pig.
