Movie: "Shooter"
I just saw the movie "Shooter" yesterday...
Awesome - Go see it, especially if you're a sniper, or into conspiracy movies!
Let us know how many misconceptions you can find in that movie - I actually didn't notice that many, maybe just a few exaggerations for the sake of drama

I thought it was good also,, it did have too many explosive exaggerations,, but it is a Hollywood movie and I recommend it

I saw it yesterday and it is now on my to buy list.
Although I agree, the explosions were way exaggerated.

Maybe a little off thread but for any of you readers check out these books by Steven Hunter. "Shooter" is based off of "Point of Impact"
All of these books have the main character Bob Lee Swagger (a Vietnam vet sniper) or his dad Earl Swagger, an Arkansas State Trooper. Great books and I cant wait to see "Shooter".
1993 Point of Impact
1994 Dirty White Boys
1996 Black Light
1998 Time to Hunt
2000 Hot Springs
2001 Pale Horse Coming

The movie was okay, but the book was so much better. I understand why the movie had to be changed somewhat as to do full character development and introduction as done it the book the movie would have been five hours long.
Nothing against Mark Wahlburg, but he didn't capture "Bob the Nailer" as he's just to pretty and not intense enough.
