High Incident?

Anybody watch this ABC show in the mid to late 90s?

I loved this show. I liked the cast, the stories, everything. I don't know why it didn't catch on, but I thought it was incredible from 1st to last episode.

I want to find it to buy, but haven't found it anywhere yet.

Anyway, there my 2 cnets.

If you find it let me know. I thought it was a great show too. About five years ago, they did a show about a LA county sheriff's deputy who was a rookie and rode around with his partner. I think the name of it was 10-8. it was a good show too. All the shows I end up getting addicted too never makes it long. That's why I don't watch many shows.

About two years ago I tried emailing ABC to find out if there was anyplace to buy all seasons on DVD or VHS but the didnt respond. I am just waiting for it to come out on the SLEUTH channel. You can contact them at HERE when the channel first started up they had an add if you wanna see something let them know.

In an attempt to find another show I found Yahoo Groups had a few fan sites where people traded tapes. Might be worth a look.

Edit : Went and looked, found one. Lot of spam messages in there lately and message activity looks slow, but it seems they share copies of the show.

And, yes, the North hollywood robbery was the last episode, but I don't think it was intended to be, it left too much hanging.

And, 10-8 was awesome! ABC just gives up on their best shows. Drives me nuts.

I liked the show. It was one of the few cop shows that actually paid attention to patrol.

I too loved this show and have many of them on VHS. Unfortunately I do not have every episode as one tape was lost. There are some website that show that they sell these on DVD but I am not sure how authentic it is. I had been talking with a guy from Austrailia (they are currently airing the reruns on one of thier local channels) and he has all episodes but it is difficult for him to make copies for everyone and I still have not got a set. I would love to own a dvd set of this show. I liked how it concentrated on patrol and it was authentic as far as officers appearance. They all appeared to even wear vest under their uniforms and stuff like that.

I stil remember the episode where they went to some old coot that thought he had been shot and his brains were leaking out. It was a tube of bread sticks that cooked off. Thought it was funny until I took a similar call. Then it was hilarious.

Good show from a patrol perspective.

Any chance he could record them into digital format on his computer. If so, i have webspace I would be happy to provide for upload/download.

If they really are available for purchase (especially from the copyright owners, then not the best idea) but if there is no other way to get them.
