Anyone heard about this before? I think I saw a preview for it a couple days ago, and only now managed to find a link. Thoughts?

New to me, but I hope they tell the real story and not some dramatic license bullshit.
Thanks Ducky - I'm definitely watching this (unless it turns to bullshit like CountyBear said) - I hope the script is historically and factually accurate (or at least based on real interviews with people who were actually there).
There seems to be a LOT of untold stories about what happened on the streets of New Orleans - And a lot of hype.
One of the more rediculous things that happened around here was that while Texans were flying food, water, and even guns & ammo for LE into New Orleans in their private planes, there were perhaps a hundred FEMA trucks wasting fuel just sitting on the Texas Motor Speedway parking lots near where I live for WEEKS loaded with ice, water & food, waiting to be told where to go. Some contract drivers finally got disgusted and dumped their whole load on the TMS parking lot.
I also read about a group of Texas doctors & nurses who got some medical supplies and went down there to help out, but FEMA had them flying aimlessly all over Southern Louisiana & Mississippi, going from one place to another where they were not needed, but wouldn't allow them to fly into the areas where they were needed - They never treated a single person.
Apparently the pilot script had been vetted out by the NOPD themselves, and it passed. That definitely got me interested.
FEMA - where good people go to get turned away.
I understand that it is a cop drama with N.O. as the backdrop. Not all stories are going to be Katrina related. The producer was down here for K,and was impressed with the cops and the city and began mentally developing the series at that time.
As far as FEMA (F*** Everybody Me Anal) or as in CIDp24s' case (F*** Every Mississipians Ass),I "heard" that there were actually some cops that had to "Hijack" supply trucks, cause FEMA in its infinite wisdom ,set up a distribution plant (1),singular,uno,in a 750 sq.mile area, with no power, and expected people to drive (if they had gas) 3 -4 hours (to get 25-30 miles to the center),to pick up their 2 gallons of water and 20 lbs of ice.
I'll probably give it a try.
