My son and I saw it today, and it kicked patootie!!!!
The effects were very realistic, and the storyline had some nice twists and turns.
I definately rate this in the same league as Independance Day, Armegeddon, and Men in Black. Lot's off action, touches of humor, and a wee bit of sexual tension.
it is such a boy/guy movie :)

I took my boys to see it today. We were blown away, great flick.
Saw it Sunday because our 19 yr old daughter wanted to see it for her b/day. Mrs Wombat even came along and thought it was a ripper of a movie. As soon as we got home there was a rush from my boys to find their old Transformer toys!!! I thought it was bloody good movie and of course can't wait for Transformers II. :D
