My thoughts are, racing makes me dizzy.
Go fast, turn left, repeat.
I hope the best for him, I hated to see him leave his dad's legacy though.
I cannot stand Dale, Jr. I'm a Jeff Gordon fan.
One word:
Disappointed
He may be over rated because of his father, but all in all, he still has game. What he was only one or two positions off playoffs this year? I dont think that is too shabby....
You know how hard it's going to be for Nascar fans to shave TWO numbers into their back hair now????

This doesn't suprise me in the least bit.
Gordon's proven he can drive, but the man whines more than anyone I've ever heard. I had no idea how bad until I went to a race and listened in on the scanners, it was pathetic.
I was never really a Jimmy Johnson fan either, but being at Martinsville and watching him hold it together while Gordon was blatently trying to spin him was awesome.
MATT KENSETH all the way.....Gordon is a fag..Dale Jr. overrated..
I am a jimmie johnson fan and I think the addition of the #88 will be great for the hendricks team! I hate Jr. This year but will be pulling for him next year
I've liked Jimmie ever since he sailed it off the track in T1 at WG and stood on the roof to celebrate. I should watch Busch instead of Cup, less polished and corporate.
Still say Kyle has more wins and potential championships in him than Jr, but Hendrick is a racing business. While others are begging for someone to buy half their team (Roush, Evernham, etc) that old crook just smiles, celebrates victories and keeps raking in the money. Rick's percentage on Jr's diecasts alone make it a good business move.
The only part I don't get is why Mears still has a ride. Surely his family's racing legacy doesn't transfer much to NASCAR so the collectibles part can't be that good. Casey has won one race and doesn't look ready to win another soon. He didn't make the chase and he's going on 30, which isn't old by any means for a stock car driver, but when you factor in his lack of success and marketability he's far from a young gun.
Meanwhile at the Gibbs ranch.... sure hope Joe has a tranquilizer gun. J.J. needed to go find something else to do, but I'm not sure how this new lineup is going to work. Kid brother to the Iceman being replaced by milquetoast Yeley as a teamate to Smoke made a sort of team sense. Tony, Denny "I'm going to beat up Kyle Petty" Hamlin and the Shrub? Yikes.
