Where's all this shit talking about the Rockies whipping the Sox asses now? Game one was the most lopsided game in World Series history, as the Red Sox easily handled the Rockies, 13 to 1.

That was some game wasn't it? The new record for most points spread belongs to boston, with a 12 run differance
Damn that was a big rock I had to crawl out from beneath. I didn't even know the WS had started yet.
GO RED SOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YA GOTTA LOVE IT
I don't really have high hopes for them actually winning. They're the wildcard team, and their playoffs up to this point were something akin to a fairy tale. They're also a very young team, with a lot of raw talent that hasn't quite matured yet. This is in stark contrast to a team like Boston, with a LOT of history, and a LOT of momentum coming from their great series over Cleveland. Boston is hungry for a title, no doubt about it. I think that for a newcomerfranchise like the Rockies, coming to Fenway and the big leagues for a title was a little intimidating. They looked daunted and miserable from the start. That's in stark contrast to their winning streak, where they just looked like a bunch of good friends messing around and having fun. See the Sox bullpen for a perfect example of the "relax and have fun" mentality.
They lost again tonight too, but I hardly think that anyone can really claim that they suck. They brought the defecit down to a 1-run win for Boston, and Boston didn't get the win easy. It was a nail biter, and I don't think either team played particularly well. In fact, I think both teams sucked ass, the Rockies just happened to suck a little more tonight. Schilling won that game for them, and the rest of the Sox looked like tired bags of soup. No one did anything extraordinary, and each teams runs came not from their magical offensive sklls, but the sloppiness of the defense. The bottom line is, I think the Rocks still have a shot. They've shown a lot of heart, and let's face it...baseball ain't the most athletic sport around. Both teams have the talent to do it, but it's going to come down to who plays harder for it.
Anyone who says different, go ahead and prove it. Otherwise, shut your fucking mouths, eat your goddamn chowdah, and go pahk your fucking cah.
:D
Game 2- Boston 2, Colorado 1.
Boston leads the series 2-0. Colorado must now win 4 out of the next 5 games to win the series. NO WAY IN HELL!
The Sox were in much the same predicament with the Indians. The Rockies come to home turf Saturday. If they lose at home, I'll be worried. RIght now I'm hoping that they win at home, build their momentum up again, and ride it through back to Fenway.
Make that four in a row, student! Boston wins game 3, 10-5!!!
I'm still trying to decide which way to cheer here. Do I want Colorado sports talk radio Rocky Mountain high over their team or crying in their Coors? How about let them win a couple, get their hopes up, and then lose so they'd rather talk about other things?
are you talking about hockey?
Okay, I will admit that I don't have much confidence now. They couldn't even rally after Holliday's three-run homer. They're getting mopped up. Oy.
