How do you choose a team to root for?

If its a team that beat my team then they are automaticaly placed on the shit list and will not be rooted for.

I pull for the teams here where i live. I pull for the TITANS and the VOLS. both are having decent seasons.

I like the Oakland Raiders, cause i know a guy who used to play for them. I've always liked the Oakland A's, don't remember why i started liking them. And i like Texas Longhorn football because i like the players that come from there and go pro.

I'm a sucker for Gophers hockey and football, though the FB team SUCKS. Hell I root for the Gophers over my school, and that's one the bigger rivalries in college hockey (Think OH-UT, only with bladed weaponry).

The other college team I root for is the University of North Dakota hockey team mainly because they put out quality teams and it was left in the will that if they change their name from the Fighting Sioux, they'll lose all further support from their main benefactor.

Pro hockey, though I still mourn for the Minnesota North Stars, the Wild have been a decent replacement. Good team, fucking AWESOME arena (the best pro arena, period).

Baseball I could give two shits less about. I'll root for players vs. teams. I've been a Jeter fan since 96.

Football, I always hope the Vikes win, and they never do.

I grew up in Northern Virginia, about 15 miles from fed ex field, and I HATE the Redskins with a passion!
