Ironman,,,,anyone seen it?
I watched it last night. I will admit, I was skeptical going in, but I thought it was a decent flick.

500 fights, that's the number I figured when I was a kid. 500 street fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate tough guy. You need them for experience. To develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then, after, you realize that's what you are.

I'm looking forward to seeing Iron Man, but there's a new Hulk movie coming out that doesn't look nearly as good.

I would like to see it. However, I am in the middle of twelve straight work days, my wife goes back to work on Monday, and we still have the newborn. Thank God for grandparents. The previews look great.

I saw it with my son the other day. I enjoyed it. I was a little skeptical with Downey playing the part; but after watching it, I think he did a good job.

There is no profanity at all, that I can recall, just some intense action/violence including a torture scene in the beginning. There's a little implied sex, but no nudity.
Here is the Movie Mom review - I think she does a good job giving an objective review.

I'm not taking my 5 or 6 year old to see it. The beginning of the movie is about him being a hedonistic narcisist and there's a brief sex scene but no nudity. When he is taken captive it's pretty violent and there's some brief torture including a guy who's about to get a hot coal put in his mouth.
I plan on getting the DVD and skipping to where he's free and building/testing the suit. The little bit of violence there is not bad compared to the beginning. The kids will really enjoy that part of the movie.
I watched the movie last night with a few adults and we all really enjoyed it. I tried to stay away from the hype so I didn't have unrealistic expectations. It was fun with a lot of humor, including some physical humor that I think the kids will enjoy. That which does not kill me, better start fucking running.

My wife and I saw it yesterday - we thought it was good. Little bit far fetched, but well done.
