I'll be in Detroit, so I'm going to see it in IMAX there with my siblings and nephews. We have planned the day around it.

It does look good. I do plan on seeing it too.
I liked Batman Begins. I think it was by far the best out of all the Batman Movies. Almost a grownup movie about Batman, vice the knucklehead kiddy movies they made before. I hope the Dark Knight is just as good as Batman Begins.

Well, I went for a look at the Dark Knight after work today and its fantastic. I wont spoil it for you all, but if your'e into Batman and such..you won't be disapointed. Good to see that Sam Raimi is making these movies in the way they are supposed to be told..not like the poor versions from the early 90's.
Not a movie for kids as it has some pretty dark overtones in it, but I thought it was great. I'll go back and see it again in a few weeks when the cinemas start thinning out

I watched a showing this afternoon before my shift. WOW!!!! This may be one of my all time favorite movies ever. Every time you breathed a sigh of relief that the movie climaxed and was going to wind up it went ahead and got worse than you thought it could.
Heath Ledger's Joker was amazing. He was able to horrify you and make you laugh at the same time. It was a really incredible experience.
And Batman! The moves and gadgets were incredible. His own inner battles with demons and character development were right on the money.
I'm going again.
One warning, don't take the kids. It was violent and scary. There's about 10 minutes of the movie I'll show my son but outside some of the Batman adventure/fights it's too intense. That which does not kill me, better start fucking running.
