The End of the Shield
Cant believe this hasn't already been talked about. Last episode of the shield is airing in 4 days. Just saw a promo, vic mackey saying what ever you think is going to happen ISN"T going to happen.
I cant wait too see what happens

I think the janitor will wake up and realize it was all a dream.

Would be funny if Vic woke up and realized all this was a dream...... and he was still the commish.

Don't tell me what happens! I never watched it when it came on TV. I have the first 5 seasons and I am waiting to watch the 6th when it comes out.

Dutch made an appearance on Sons of Anarchy, but died after i think 3 episodes. I cant help but wonder if thats a hint.
In the last episode of the shield, the capt listened to vic confess to all his crimes he has committed and pretty much spaced out cursing at everbody for a minute. She's dieing anyways, reckon she'll take vic out?
I CANT FREAKIN WAIT........ gawd i feel like a teenage girl watchin a soap opera.... lol

I do love the show. I didnt watch the series until the 2nd season. I didnt care for a bad bad cop show but its actually a great show

Has anyone else been driven crazy by the huge number of "that wouldn't happen" that have been on this season.
For instance, Vic is still driving the department Charger after throwing in his badge.
But it's still as addictive as meth.I'm not ruining your life, you are, and I'm just going to write a short story about it.

Ended last night.... wasn't exactly the ending i expected. I guess that was the point, the character that died, i saw coming. I didn't see the whole thing coming, but at least part of it. I guess the not so dramatic ending was on purpose since everbody expected something bad to happen to vic. Ah well... end of a good show.

Fucking A Five-O. Selling his teammate down the river was pure bullshit! That really hit me hard. I was so disappointed. I think they meant to do that...everybody was expecting Vic to totally redeem himself. In the end though he turned out to be a bigger scumbag than even Shane.

No real surprises, except that Tina didn't get shot though she got the mayoral candidate killed. Interesting way they played the good vs. evil, Claudette vs. Vic, at the end in the interview. Should've known Vic would sell out the last guy that was loyal to him, and regardless of what system Vic was in he always did it his way. In a way, I'm glad it's over, maybe some morons will stop thinking we're all like him.

I haven't watched "The Shield" and only know about it from this forum, but I'm wondering why so many LEOs liked it even though it focuses on police corruption and does so in an unrealistic way. Most LEOs usually don't like that kind of show, so why is this one different?

I think the ending was pretty damn good. You could see it in his eyes. Can he live with what he has done? Sure he can live with shane dead. Can he live with Ronnie behind bars? Can he live without seeing his wife or kids for the rest of his life? Can he sit behind that desk for 3 years with 1 report due a day?
I see a movie coming where Vic gets arrested after not being able to do the desk job. once in jail Vic many will think that Vic will have a hard time but I see him setting up an Organization inside. Would make for a good spin off.

I see a spin off too.
They left the ending with a few unanswered questions, but not in a way that would leave you hanging for good.
-The look as Vic got up, slipped his gun inside the waist and walked off
- The look his wife had when she glanced at the black bag, then to the house and her family (anybody else catch that it was the same bag she had the 100k in from a couple episodes ago?)
- The serial killer kid that was in interview
There were a couple more, but those are the ones I saw leading to something else."Like" us on facebook! https://www.facebook.com/pages/Offic...93147194083228

Because there's a little part of all of us that wants to take a telephone book into an interrogation room and beat the location of a kidnapped child out of a pedophile. There's a little bit of all of us that finds the corruption of the system a hindrance to real justice and we'd like to break a few rules too. We live a little vicariously through him when he cheats IA and does end runs around bureaucracy. Then he does something that sickens us and we're glad it's just a show. We recognize that in a civilized society we can't do what Vic does and we're glad we're not him.
That which does not kill me, better start fucking running.
