TX, even though we've never met, when i first seen the ads for this movie, you are the first person that came to mind.

I can just picture you running around a mall, just like in the movie, LMAO, sorry tx, i had to at least let you know.

I was waiting to see who would say that first... I figured it would be a toss-up between You, Maclean, or Terminator

Thank goodness we have no malls or Segways in the town I work in, but the town I live in does have large shopping centers and Citizen Patrol golf carts (actually more of an electric ATV, because it can jumb curbs and go through ditches much better than a golf cart or Segway). To our credit though, we don't reach for our radio like we're drawing a gun. Our Chief would have a cow over that.

I haven't seen the movie you're talking about, but on the marginal ones, I just wait for it to go to the dollar movies and sneak in my own snacks. Especially any movie made by Michael Moore

Well, I have seen Mall Cop. It was alright. Not something I would see again, and not real laugh out loud funny. A bit corny, but some of it was funny. Some of the jokes were inside jokes, where you'd have to be mall security, or an LEO to understand.

I'd give it a C+.

We used to have a security company called SWAT Security here. I got a call one night that one was holding a theft suspect. I got there and this security guy had everything you could buy from Law and Order Magazine on his belt, but he had the suspect up against the wall holding a switchblade to his throat when I got there..... You can take the thug off the street, but......
