Umm he had to be out cold. His hands did not move after the hit, just hung there in the same position from the moment of impact. Both players moving forward in contact with the ground, I'm estimating that as a 20 mph crash with no restraints easy.

McGahee has really been on the receiving end of some "holy crap I gotta turn my head away from the TV and say a little prayer" plays in his career. When his leg instantly turned into Jello in the 2003 (?) National Championship game comes to mind. That will be permanently seared into my medula oblongata.
