I'm usually an extremely light sleeper. Just the click the door makes when you open it will wake me up.
On occasion, if I'm tired or took a sleep aid, I won't hear a friggin thing all night.

I get about the same amount on work days, but no one will let me sleep in on the weekends. If its not my brother calling early its some other family member or the dogs. About once a month I will break down and turn off the cell phone so I can get about 12 hours of sleep. I found that I feel like I have less energy on the days that I get more sleep. Anyone else have that problem?
Where were you?

A usual "night/day" of sleep for me is about 4 hours or so. I get off at 3am...too wired to sleep...go to bed about 530-6am and then back up at 930 or 10am. Every once in awhile when I have a few days off in a row I might get 6. I am happy now working swing shift..now I have something to do instead of worrying about not getting enough sleep for day shift...I work nights. Much better.

I sleep about 5 to 6 hours, but I have really bad ringing in the ear (mostly my right) and if there is not some kind of noise (like a fan, radio, etc.) I will never get to sleep. Drives me nuts. Thanks uncle sam for that.

7-8 hours for me and I function fine. 4-5 hours of sleep really kicks my butt.
