O/R NCAA Men's Basketball Bracket Challenge

Here are the rules.

1st Round - 1 point

2nd Round - 2 points

3rd Round (Sweet 16) - 3 points

4th Round (Elite 8) - 4 points

5th Round (Final Four) - 5 points

6th Round (Finals) - 6 points

Bonus for picking all Sweet 16 teams correctly: 3 points

Bonus for picking all Elite 8 teams correctly: 4 points

Bonus for picking all Final Four teams correctly: 5 points

Bonus for picking the finals correctly: 6 points

Total number of points will be counted at the end, and the member with the highest point total wins. The combined score of the finals will be picked in case of a tie, and the closest margin without going over will win. Post your brackets in here. Final date is this Thursday at 12:01 am.

Winner wins a free Level 1 Supporting Membership for one year, and bragging rights as our first champion.

Unless I'm misreading this, it seems you have scoring for one more round than there is in the tourney. You are saying 1st and 2nd round games (up until the sweet 16) are 1pt each. Then sweet 1 games (3rd round) are 2 pts. each. Then elite eight games (4th round) are 3pts each. But then you say the final four (5th round) are 4pts. each, and say picking a team in the finals (which already was the final four round) are 5pts. each. Then the title game (6th round) winner is worth 6pts.

I think you meant to say 1st round games are worth 1, 2nd round are worth 2, SS are worth 3, EE are worth 4, FF are worth 5, and Championship is worth 6. Is that right?

How about a lifetime membership if anyone predicts a perfect bracket? Not likely, but who knows? On ESPN.com when George Mason went to the final four, a guy still had a perfect bracket going into the final four. That was a miracle.

I f'n love this time of year. March Madness rules!!!!!!!

I've been filling out brackets on ESPN, CBS, Fox, NBC, etc. I normally do relatively well but haven't won anything yet. A couple years ago I was in the top 100 (of like 3 million) on ESPN going into the final four, but then crapped out.
