This week we had the two semi final playoff games, and the 5th place game.
Game 1
essex thunder 99
Carolina Cripplers 110
This game brought the number 1 seeded essex thunder against the number 5 seed Carolina Cripplers. The Cripplers came into this game with a losing record, compared to the 10-2-1 record of the thunder. The Cripplers, in a game earlier this season, managed to tie the thunder, and also lost once to them. In the semi final game they managed to pull through and soundly defeat them to advance to the final game.
Game 2
Junkyard Dawgs 91
Minnesota Maulers 95
Similarly, Maulers and Dawgs split their games earlier this season, with each winning one. This week the #2 seeded Maulers managed to defeat the #3 seeded Dawgs to continue onto the finals against the Cripplers.
Game 3
Reca 107
Swamp Critters 94
This game was to determine the #5 placed team in the league. Reca managed to defeat the Critters, unlike their earlier regular season game when the Critters beat Reca by a significant margin.
