Congrats Saints
Congrats to the Saints fans. Well done. Of course it didn't hurt playing the greatest choke of all time.

It was a great game, Payton Manning was being a little bitch the entire game!
Just because your sign off after you're shift is done, doesn't mean that it's over and put blinders on. You're a cop 24/7 wether you like it or not. If thats something you can't handle, you should find a new line of work!

I have to give the Saints credit. THEY were the team that played like a super bowl champ. The Colts picked the worst time to play their worst game of the whole season. Garcon dropping that one pass? If he simply caught that easy pass that was on the money, that was probably a touchdown. After the sack of Bress, Freeney was non-existant. Peyton threw like crap at the end of the game. Ugh! But Brees, who I've followed since his days at Purdue (I still have my #15 Purdue jersey), played like he should be called an all-timer. The onside kick call was ultra-ballsy. The Saints defense did a great job of employing what the Colts normally did, a bend but not break style of play with a few big stops mixed in. The Colts D was just on the field too long, and played like a bunch of confused little boys in the second half. And I think they said during the week that the team that gets a pick-6 in the Super Bowl always wins, or something like that. Well that was the play that most likely decided the game. Bad throw, bad route, and great defensive awareness. I'm so sad and disappointed right now. Though I will say it now. Do not be surprised to see these two teams in a rematch in Dallas! Both are relatively young, and definitely talented.

I like the way there are folks who try to subtly take the victory away from the Saints by saying things like "The Colt defeated themselves" and "Manning choked". Okay sure, but the Saints showed up ready to play and play hard. They showed guts, determination and skill. They were down by ten points and they didn't quit. I've seen many a Superbowl where the other team just quits, but the Saints didn't do that. They did an excellent job and I'm not even a Saints fan. I like Green Bay.
What I really liked was in the pre game hype it was all about Peyton Manning and the Colts. Colts, Colts, Colts, Peyton, Peyton, Peyton, GREATEST QUARTERBACK SINCE NOAH BUILT HIS ARK oh and the Saints are the other team. I sometimes think the best thing that can happen for the underdog team is to have all the experts shove it in their face that they aren't good enough. Nothing motivates like being belittled and disregarded.
I also suspect that Peyton and the Colts really bought into all the hype. Evidently it wasn't made real clear to the Saints that they were supposed to be the losing team. Good for them.
The Saints and a Superbowl victory. Wow. Never thought those words would ever go together.

It was a good game. I was rooting for the Colts simply because the Saints took the spot we should have had

The Saints did put on a damn good show though
