Retro Fitness clubs
Anybody familiar with RetroFitness clubs? One's opening up near me, and the rates seem pretty attractive. Thing is, I'm not into all the extras. I want a gym, with free weights, and some different types of cardio equipment. Ideally, some aerobic rooms I can sneak into when they're not in use for some martial arts practice. I don't need juice bars, movie theaters, etc. A child care facility would be a very nice extra, unless the rates were nuts...
So -- any info?
I'm afraid I cannot help.
I can't help either, don't believe we have any in my neck of the woods.......;-)
They seem to be mostly in the North East, moving south.
Am I the only one who thinks that there must be a market for people like me out there? Solid basic gym equipment, free weights, and a variety of cardio gear. I don't need the latest & "greatest" sorts of weight machines -- and I don't want them. Maybe throw in plenty of pull up bars, steps & benches, maybe some of the other stuff you see in programs like Cross Fit or P90.
I am disappointed. i thought it was gonna be a bunch of old- time strongman type stuff like cubbells, kettlebells, pegboards, rope climb. etc. on top of regular free weights. guess that gym will continue to only exist in my mind...
Well... find the money (easy, right?!) and open it. If you do it in my neck of the woods, I'll join!
