Yeah, it's called stockpiling draft picks. They have two picks in each of the first 4 rounds now (including 4 of the first 64 picks). If they'd lost Moss in the offseason, they would have gotten a 3rd round compensatory pick, so this is a win-win for them.

Yeah but at the same time its going to be harder to win the division now without him. Granted this seems like an addition by subtraction, especially since Moss was becoming more and more of a clubhouse cancer. I'd really like it if we turned around and used this pick to get a stud OLB or legit DE. IDK, some of our young receiving options are looking like they could fill the void so I guess we'll see.
