I've had a gym membership for several months that has (let's face it) been mainly unused. I was going over the schedule of classes available, and there's a couple I'm interested in - a martial arts based class and a yoga class. I've got experience with martial arts, but my prior training has pretty much been 1-1 training. No experience with yoga beyond a couple of books I've browsed. My concern is the classroom setting. I'm not sure how comfortable I'd be doing this kind of thing in a group setting. I know at first I'm going to be lumbering and clumsy, and I hate the idea of 1) being seen as the complete klutz I am, and 2) pissing off the other participants. Does anyone have experience doing classes like this? What should I expect?
