I found out the other day that the newly remodeled basement of the mall I work at includes a gym! It is mostly a training center for boxers/mma fighters. One of the trainers ran me through a routine.
10 minutes on stationary bike
30 minutes of lifting (lighter weights) 3 sets of 15 reps at 3 different stations, done at a brisk pace.
20 minutes of treadmill increasing speed at 3 min. intervals.
That was Wednesday.
All I can say today is, "ouch"
Finished 5th session yesterday. All of the workouts are totally different. The weekly schedule is 2 days on, 1 day off (optional - walking 30 minutes at brisk pace), 2 days on 2 days off (no exercise).
Three years ago I did http://www.strokedetectionplus.com/ Just the carotids and abdominal aorta because of family medical history. I took all 4 screenings last week (carotid/abdominal/PAD/osteoporosis).
I passed all with flying colors except the osteoporosis. This puzzled the tech because of the physical nature of my job.
