3rd Watch
Are we allowed to talk about shows that are no longer on TV? I'm guessing if not, someone will delete this.
What are everyone's thoughts on the show Third Watch?

when they ended the show I was stunned. I sat there looking at my wife saying "thats it? the series is over?" which only made me want more. That is a good thing when a show leaves you wnting more...it just maikes it all the better instead of playing out the story line until you are sick that it is still on.....

That was my favorite show as well. Bosco was my favorite character. It's a shame that it's not on any more.

That was awesome show. I think it ran its course though. I WISH they'd come out with it on DVD already.

And I’ll deal with the hate.
Don’t worry about me; I’ll be all right

Not much of a TV watcher but the few episodes of 3rd watch that I saw were really good. They seem to always cancel the good ones.

04-24-06, 11:43 PM #10Yeah, me too. I always wonder why they're so quick to get seasons of shows out so quick that are still on, but some of the good ones like 3rd Watch and Pickett Fences they still haven't gotten on DVD yet.

I couldn't believe they had doc going off like that shooting people. Bosco was the shiznit!!

04-24-06, 11:50 PM #12Ya, I was kinda ticked by that. Doc was always the moral, ethical, and respectable character of the show and to have him leave like that, irony of the situation I guess.

I don't have cable, so I don't get to watch reruns, I do have the 2nd to last and last episodes on taple, I'm thinking I have a couple others too, but they don't stick in my mind, just stuff that never got taped over.
My favorite characters were Bosco, Davis, and Faith. It's pretty obvious why I liked Bosco & Davis. I loved Faith cause she didn't take any crap from anyone, I'd like to think I'd be like that some day. Strong and yet feminine anyway. I hated it when they split her and Bosco up, but you can't really have Bosco waiting forever when she was shot.
One of my cop friends here (S) reminds me of Bosco, just a beat cop, that's all he wants to be.

It's currently on Fox here in the UK. Excellent show. And yes, I want Bosco in my car with me.

I loved the show as well.. Of course I liked Bosco, named my brothers dog Bosco lol. Believe it or not he is very good at finding dope! If I am around when the reruns are on I try to watch them.
They take good shows off the air and leave all these "reality" shows on
It is better to be tried by 12, than carried by 6.

Does anyone know if they came out with a Boxed DVD set yet? I know that will be a hot item.

If you go to Amazon and search for it, about 3/4 way down the page, there's a listing for it. Click on that, and it says "NOT YET RELEASED: The studio is currently not producing this title, but to be notified when it is available, enter your e-mail address at right. You'll also be voting for this release; we'll let the studio know how many customers are waiting for this title."
I stuck my email in, I don't know if it will help them get it out faster, but I figured it was worth a try.

There's only 2 shows I would spend my money to buy the whole series on DVD. One, Angel, I have. The other, 3rd Watch, I'm waiting on. If there's anything I know of to get it on DVD or convince the producers to put it on DVD, I'm on it.
