Boy catches ball at Diamondbacks vs. Brewers baseball game, but gives it to younger boy after seeing how sad the younger boy was at missing it
More here (with video): Play of the day! Selfless young fan returns ball to upset boy - Big League Stew - MLB*Blog - Yahoo! SportsIn one of the most heartwarming scenes you'll ever see, a young Arizona Diamondbacks fan named Ian made Wednesday's play of the day at Chase Field after an even younger fan named Nicholas missed a ball thrown his way by Milwaukee Brewers second baseman Rickie Weeks(notes).
Though the dropped ball was instead handed to Ian by another person, he immediately recognized what he had to do after seeing Nicholas in a distraught state after botching an attempt at a souvenir. With an amazed audience looking on, Ian marched back down the stairs and graciously handed the baseball over to Nicholas, a Brewers fan, without any prodding from anyone else.

That's a pure class act right there.
SI VIS PACEM PARA BELLUM-Ex-Sheriff Martin Howe to Will Kane in "High Noon"
"It's a great life. You risk your skin catching killers and the juries turn them loose so they can come back and shoot at you again. If your honest , your poor your whole life. And , In the end , you wind up dying all alone on some dirty street. For what? For nothing. For a tin star."
Far from being a handicap to command, compassion is the measure of it. For unless one values the lives of his soldiers and is tormented by their ordeals , he is unfit to command.

One of the news networks did a bit on it this afternoon.
Besides going up to the pressbox, being interviewed on national TV, getting some free game passes, a bat autographed by his favorite player, a jersey and cap, he also gets to throw out the first pitch for tonight's game.
Kudos to the parents. They seem to have done it right - unlike so many others.
Kudos to Ian too. He deserves it. A very unselfish act on his part.
