Insanity
as previously mentioned in another thread, I started Insanity this week. In fact, as I type this covered in sweat and trembling, I just finished the last workout for this week. I've done a couple of rounds of P90X and they were great for putting on muscle (and I did lose a bit of weight the first time), but I needed something with more cardio to keep burning the fat off. I'm telling you, this is the hardest workout I've ever done. Seriously. And I'm a strong cardio guy even though you probably couldn't tell by looking at me (I could go out and run 10-15 miles on a whim at an 8-8:30/mile pace and I regularly run the 1.5mi test for my team in about 10:30ish). If you're in pretty decent shape AND looking to shred every last ounce of fat on your body, DO THIS WORKOUT! I'll periodically post some updates and (if they're flattering enough) I may post some after pics.

I suppose I haven't done a good job with updating this...sorry, folks.
Today is the last day of week 1/month 2. Only 3 more weeks to go.
I've lost 10.5 lbs overall. These workouts are a bitch. I would like to meet a person who can do Max Cardio and Conditioning all the way through. Seriously..they're the most ridiculously intense thing I've ever been a part of.

just wait until you get to the 2nd month...the Max workouts are all about an hour long instead of the 45 minutes of the first month, plus max cardio conditioning does not have any breaks (there is no way to do it without breaking at some point, but I guess they want you to do it on your own). Good luck!

I am on my 4th week of Insanity, and today is cardio recovery. I started at 224 lbs, and I am down to 212 currently. I am nervous for the beginning of the second month, those workouts look like no joke, and its gonna take every ounce of determination in me to complete them.
