The couple, one a Toronto Maple Leafs fan named Alicia, and one a Senators fan named Christina, are believed to be the first same-sex couple to get engaged at a National Hockey League game.
The video shows Alicia escorted onto the ice wearing a blindfold between the second and third period of the game. When the blindfold is removed, she looked up to see a message from her girlfriend on the scoreboard.

The adorable duo then embraced and as the mascot began to flash a sign that read "She Said Yes!" Christina got down on one knee and proposed as the crowd cheered.
