Lakers forward Metta World Peace suspended for 7 games because he hit opposing player with his elbow
Los Angeles Lakers forward Metta World Peace has been suspended for seven games without pay over an elbow blow he delivered to the head of an opposing player, the National Basketball Association said Tuesday.
One-time basketball bad boy Ron Artest, who changed his name to Metta World Peace, was ejected Sunday from a Los Angeles Lakers-Oklahoma City Thunder game for striking James Harden.More here: http://www.cnn.com/2012/04/24/sport/...html?hpt=hp_t3After scoring against the Thunder in the second quarter, World Peace was cheering his own shot when he hit the Oklahoma City guard in the back of the head, knocking him down.
Harden was on the floor for several minutes, and did not return to the game after being diagnosed with a concussion, according to the Thunder.

Saw it on Sports Center. It was nasty. Right to the brachial nerves. Would be considered deadly force if I used it on a suspect.
