8th grader offered Alabama football scholarship
Alabama extends scholarship offer to 8th grade phenom Dylan Moses | al.comBaton Rouge (La.) athleteDylan Moses was one of several players to receive a scholarship offer from Alabama during the Crimson Tide's Junior Day event over the weekend, though unlike most of the other players that received offers, Moses is not a junior. He's in 8th grade.

Am I alone in thinking that institutes of higher learning should be more about learning and less about the athletic departments?

Anybody watch the highlight video? Kids were breaking their ankles to get OUT of his way lol.
Personally I don't think colleges should be able to offer a scholarship to somebody so young. Not only will it give them a "big head" but if they're later injured and then not eligible it would understandably be quite depressing. Let em focus on school for now.
