I loved the series based on the Joseph Wambaugh books. They were a variety of stories about different cops. Anyone remember them? Even Dandy Don Meredith starred in a few.

I really liked Fire Lover and The Choirboys. Good stuff.

Dandy Don is invited to "Kick over that bike and see how a REAL Iron Horse feels" by an outlaw Biker, and he promplty does...right over an emabankement and down a hill.
David Groh, berated by a "I'll have your job" asshole driver, spreads peanut butter on the driver's license and eats it (This is LONG before credit card type driver's licenses). He then cites the guy for driving without a license.
The episode ends with Tige Andrews, their Sergeant, asking Groh if he ate some guy's license.....
Some of the greatest episodes were with Don,he was just natural and of course I loved the fact that his southern accent was authentic.:hail:
LOL!!!!! That is too funny...:rofl:Quote:
