FUN Movie: "A Prairie Home Companion"!!!
Normally I don't like movies like this, but y'all have to watch this one - My wife dragged me in to see it, and I enjoyed the hell out of it!!!
You GOTTA hear the "Bad Joke" song that they play on the air without permission - It's destined to be a #1 hit single. Maybe that's the main reason I liked the movie, but it also had a down-home innocent flavor about it that you just don't see in movies anymore. It made me sad that I missed most of that bygone era in radio, but I remember some of it

Just got home from seeing it - it was great!
I've been a fan of the radio show for years, and they really captured the feel of the show, and the midwest character.Molly Weasley makes Chuck Norris eat his vegetables.

My wife met Garrison Keillor on a flight a couple of years ago, and she said he was very quiet but quite nice. I've listened to the show on the radio for a while now, and it really does have the flavor of the midwest. If you ever get a chance to listen to his CDs about the different seasons, they are great.
For the morning will come. Brightly will it shine on the brave and true, kindly upon all who suffer for the cause, glorious upon the tombs of heroes. Thus will shine the dawn.

Looks Pretty Good!
Just because your sign off after you're shift is done, doesn't mean that it's over and put blinders on. You're a cop 24/7 wether you like it or not. If thats something you can't handle, you should find a new line of work!
