Who will last longer, the overrated Colts or the stifling defense of the Chicago Bears?
I say the Bears. While both teams are overrated, and will choke in the post-season, the Bears have a fairly easy schedule, which is one reason why they're still undefeated. Once they start having some really tough games, especially road games, then they'll really know what they're made of.
The Colts are the worst undefeated team in the NFL. They should have 2 losses. Their run defense is horrendous.
I agree the Colts have a much harder schedule. And since they almost lost the other day to the "wonderful" Bucs, they will fall first.
Yeah IMO the Bears will last the longest bc of the easy schedule, and you hit the nail on the head about the run defense. They did pick up that DT from the Bucs, but that will only help so much. There offense now is just too one dimensional so even poor teams are shutting them down (ie the Titans, the Jets)...
i say the bears, but i not holding my breath. im not like everyone else around here wanting remakes of the superbowl shuffle or buying superbowl tickets. its still early in the season. one good hit on t-rex and he's out for the season. the next two games should be good, san francisco ( because i have four older brothers who happen to be 49nrs fans in chicago go figure:doh: ) then new england. we'll see what happens. for now we're in bear heaven
Go Bears! even though Im a vikings fan, I Like the bears chances this year!
GO 54 !
Colts! I like to be different! Besides, one should never underestimate the underdog!
I picked Colts. Why? I dunno, I dont watch football, just wanted to vote lol

If they use their heads. The game in Pheonix, showed something. Rex although a good QB, cannot call plays on his own. Which is what the coach allowed him to do. They went into that game knowing that The Cards were giving up, on average 5 yards a run, yet in the fist quarter or half they only ran four plays and passed 18. Do I think they stole that game....sure, but a win is a win. The Defense/Special Teams won that game. Following the age old adage of Defenses winning Championships. Do I think the Bears will go all the way? Hell yeah I do. Then again what I think and what happens are 2 different things, and while the bird says we are in Bear Heaven he sure as hell isn't lying. :thumb:
Yeah that was not a very well called game at all, I noticed on every 3rd and short Rex would air it out to Berrian, trying to go for the 40-50 yard strike. It could have been 3rd and 1 and they'd still try to go deep. If they had just run Jones up the gut they would have gotten a 1st down every time, no way AZ could have stopped him. BUt yeah, excellent point on the game calling...
Also, how long do you think Oakland can keep their losing streak going? Only .000 team in the NFL :D
Oakland is the worst team in the NFL. Randy Moss will leave the Raiders within 2 years.
Injuries are eating up the Colts D. The Cory Simon debacle, and Bob Sanders is just now coming off the injured list. Jason David and Nick Harper are playing better this year than last. But most teams are running draw plays, and that is why our run D is having problems. Addai appears to be coming into his own as a running back, so that will help the offense immensly.
Denver will be an excellent test for us. I do not expect us to win, but it should be a close game.
Smooth move Edgerrin. Hope you enjoy your greenbacks.Quote:
Finally a win, against the quicjkly fading Cardinals...
Yeah and you'll be playing Denver too. I think it will be a great game, Denver just needs to score some points. Tatum Bell should run all over Indy's D though...
