Well you dont go by the right cops, I would stop you and give you a ticket if warrented. And your sister is wrong for giving you that sticker, it was meant only for cops not for the family of cops. Thats why I basically ignore them now, they are abused to much.

If it was not ment for family of cops why does my mom have one that says MOTHER on it? Its not like anyone can just get one...The site where they are ordered is password protected. I just put my sticker on 2 weeks ago. Prior to the sticker I was given speeding tickets last case was 2 in one month...then she gave me one and its changed my life!! Thin blue line, it workes for me ;)

It's a courtesy, not get out of jail free card. It was mean for law enfrorcement only like posted earlier so we know if they are armed or what not. It's just to help us out and show support between officer's not their punk kids "well my dad is so and so".
Threads like these are the reason TBL stickers dont mean much these days. I still rely more on seeing FOP emblems on the plate to verify the family members. Nothing else counts.
