i hate spam...
So are these spammers automated bot programs or are they actual people? If they are actual people, it would seem like the remote and limited possibility of getting someone to actually buy something in response to the spam would be far outweighed by the time and effort it takes to register and then post. Does anyone ever even buy stuff in response to spam?
my thoughts too... but doesn't matter to me... got spam on my email, spam on my myspace, and now spam on my cell phone...
sick and tired of this crap =/
so, every chance i get, i report, neg rep, whatever i can do to stop it... hate the blatant invasion of my privacy in the respect that it's unwarranted contact... maybe invasion of privacy is a bad term... more like (as LA Revised Statutes calls it) Improper Telecommunications...
did i mention i hate spam ;)

Jenna,I beleive that is an automated program that sends those out as "scouts" if the mail isn't rejected (spam blocker on yahoo,for example) they will know thet have a "real" victim and the anvlanche(sp) then begins.
