It has now been over twelve hours. Ample time has been given. As promised, SaraJ will face a ban for the following reasons, as clearly stated in the LEF terms of service:

Disrespect of Site Staff, whether in front of others, or to others, will not be tolerated. A violation of this will result in five infraction points being issued.

Sally (user SaraJ) has seen fit to criticize, berate, and demean the professional performance of a member of this site staff, and has done so in a venue away from this site, thereby disallowing the staff member's ability to defend himself against her allegations. Her libelous and defamatory statements were published here, once discovered.

All members will be required to follow orders or requests from Site Staff Members. A violation of this will result in ten infraction points being issued.

All members must cooperate with investigations by Site Staff. Any member who fails to cooperate or come forward with information that they are suspected to have in regards to an investigation, will be warned by a Site Staff Member. If the member still fails to comply after being warned by a Site Staff Member, they will be then permanently banned.

Sally (user SaraJ) has refused to respond to Site Staff demands for her to answer to these allegations, and has seen fit to secret herself away, rather than cooperate with our investigation of this incident.

Trolling is not allowed. Trolling is defined as someone who registers in an on-line community and intentionally posts controversial or contrary messages with the intention of baiting users into an argumentative response. Trolls will be placed in The Holding Cell, and trolling will result in a permanent ban on the first offense.

Sally (user SaraJ) has questioned the ethics and professional principles of verified Law Enforcement officers here, by intentionally misconstruing their words into alleging that officers are involved in corruption, up to and including: the making of death threats, and the intent of committing unwarranted acts of violence. Her posts in the past at LEF have been inflammatory and derrogatory, intentionally baiting officers here into arguments. She has refused to respond to substantiate such allegations. On a more personal note: I am proud to say that these officers have responded with professionalism and tact.

All members who obtain information that might require the attention of Site Staff will be required to report the information to a Site Staff Member immediately. Failing to do so will result in the member being banned for seven days.

If indeed, Sally (SaraJ) had reason to believe that any Verified LEO member, or any member of this site had true intention of acting feloniously, was guilty of making physical threats against innocents, or was involved in corrupt professional practices, it is incumbent upon her as a member of LEF to bring it immediately to the attention of site staff. As she has seen fit not to do so, she is therefore in violation of this element of the LEF TOS.

Not all situations can be covered in the TOS. If a Site Staff member is made aware of, or observes something that does not appear to be in the best interest of this site, or doesn't coorelate with LEF's Official Mission Statement, then they reserve the right to take ANY moderating action (warn, lock thread, edit post, ban..etc).

Sally (SaraJ) has repeatedly created unnecessary drama on this site, by making hollow allegations against members here, and by making accusations against U.S. law enforcement officers generally. By claiming that "F.B.I. Agents (were) kidnapping citizens" (where she resides in Mexico), without any substantiation and without the ability to even support such an incredulous story by citation, she has acted in a manner far below the best interests of this site, and is being permanently removed from this site's membership accordingly, by the consensus of the Moderators and Administrators at www.lawenforcementforums.com.

A copy of this post will be forwarded to the Administrators of other Police Forum Sites, in hopes that they will avoid such entanglements with this user.

I am of the belief that these actions were necessary in the best interest of this site, and for the benefit of its members. I stand prepared to answer any inquiries regarding the foundations of these allegations, and will even do so in this public area.

www.lawenforcementforums.com is a community where we, as the site staff diligently work to ensure that professionalism and site integrity is maintained. This action is in keeping with that pledge.

Darn it! I had planned on a little search!

I had noticed some inconsistencies in her posts, and had planned on pulling all the info together....

Oh well, I think it's best to move on. People like that really aren't worth our time and energy.

Too much credence given to verbiage of a toad. Time to move on.

I'm sure we all appreciate your take on this matter. The "Klan'er" statement wasn't actually posted (so that I was aware of it) until AFTER I had started the post announcing the ban.

As a fellow member of the "other" site where much of SaraJ's drivol was posted, I would think that you, sir, would appreciate the lengths to which we went to give your associate, SaraJ, the opportunity to answer these allegations. If you honestly believe that she's a "dim-wit" and a "Toad", then perhaps you can inform her of that in her presence over there.

Perhaps we do not run this site to your liking. If so, please feel free to send your suggestions regarding how we should do it to the head moderator, conalabu, via PM. In keeping with this site's TOS, that might be something you wish to bring to the attention of the site staff. If you have a complaint regarding how I personally handled this matter, please see the FAQ tab above on how to properly lodge it.

My intent here was to make the case for banning the user known as SaraJ, I believe that I did so with clarity. I initially posted in anger, then did not add any further to this thread until I had the necessary tact to explain my actions fully. If you agree with the action of banning this user, simply stating that is sufficient. I did not solicit your expert opinion on my savvy as a site staff member, nor will I. If you believe that too much attention was drawn to the matter, why are you continuing it any further? There are many other active topics on THIS board, even if there aren't on the other one(s) that you and SaraJ frequent.

Countybear I am beginning to think that there are some(not all) from that other site that have came over here to stir some shit. I fully believe that the members of this site know that the site staff do not and will not "pick" on people. But if put in that position we will defend ourselves and this site with everything that we are. We have a great site here where I have met several new friends. We as site staff will not allow anyone to destroy what makes this site great.
