We dallied under
Vine maples and sapling alders
Searched for lady slippers
But instead
Found blackberry riots and
Desiccated branches
An old skid road
Brought ghost ferns and
Hollows filled with
Skunk cabbage
While waves wrapped
Intricate lacings of weeds
'Round mule spinners
His cyanotic eyes
Were hard enough to make
The sun turn tail and
Tender enough to attract me
To his world of illusion

I slow down, and then it occurs to me, I'm not afraid of small children"!

11-26-07, 10:45 PM #24You are taking a polygraph examination to enter a law enforcement profession. No one is going to take your word on anything. That's why you are getting a polygraph. Any questions? Now you'll just have to take my word for it its the best I can do.
Denial is not just a river in Egypt...I literally have never sold drugs.
Congratulations, you are a liar who once sold drugs... Selling one pill is as much an offense as selling 1000, there are no quantity discounts in felony criminal statutes, only additional counts.I was prescribed to Adderall in college and gave it to some friends at a few points but never exceeded 20 times or made more than $50 from it.....
You couldn't make it as a drug dealer so you decided to try becoming a cop... My "take" is that you are an asshole, and that is my professional opinion. In all of your professional opinions what is your take on this?
Well, you asked...
Another lie, and I didn't even need a polygraph machine to detect it. Damn, I'm good.Lastly he asked why I didn’t tell him and this is honest, I said because I said on my last app at another dept. I had sold drugs and they told me I hadn’t because it was my prescription and I should have checked "no".
Not too bad, really... only about 5-10 in a medium security facility. I mean, you didn't kill anyone did you? Or did you? Was this one of the polygraph questions? Well, did you?How bad does this look?
Its about even with Janet Jackson's nipple, just on a smaller scale. (Did I say, scale, as in used in distribution?) BAHAHAHA!Is what I did a huge showstopper?
No, thanks... If I need Adderal, I'll go see a Doc and a real pharmacist. Thanks!
The world is full of unrealized hopes. Welcome to reality, its for people who can't handle drugs.LE hopeful
Now then, as for my time. I rate it at about 10 Adderal, at five bucks a pop, that's $50.00, which by the way, is the same amount I usually get for going to court to testify against a drug dealer. Get a life, get a job (that doesn't require honesty, credibility, honor, or integrity since you have none), and GTFO of our forums before we digitally beat you to death with a foreign substance to you called truth.
Do the letters, FO mean anything to you?
Signed, your friend and future arresting officer,
CB

11-27-07, 01:50 AM #29“All I can think of…” - ?..the polygrapher came around and said "Hey you’re not doing to good, what’s up with sale of drugs? And lying on your app the poly is showing deception to me?" … I told him well all I can think of is I was prescribed to Adderall in college and gave it to some friends at a few points but never exceeded 20 times or made more than $50 from it.....
To the best of my understanding, a polygraph can only detect a conscious deception.
I guess that’s why it’s not called a truth detector or an ‘Historiographer.’
( ‘Should have’ ). That should have been the first insight gleaned from having taken the test at all. If you have a ‘guilty conscience’ or ‘Will-to-deceive,’ you can’t ‘keep it to yourself.’ ‘Should’ doesn’t even enter the equation at the level of a polygraph.what is your take on this? … should of kept it to myself?.
Why do you think they’re even used? *confused*
I’d like to think that any prospective employer in L.E. would want to know not only that you distributed a Schedule II C.S., but why you were prescribed Adderall in the first place.
Even without the distribution issue, I’d have serious questions regarding mental suitability for L.E. service.
What was it prescribed for – A.D.D.? Narcolepsy? Chronic depression?
Any of those reasons might be a ‘showstopper’ already.

You are a drug dealer. END OF STORY.
You are not fit to be the Po-Leece because you can;t tell the truth, and you have a history of peddling dope to kids and then trying to lie about it.

He only sold a little bit of coke and only made a few dollars. Ah what the hell, if old Pablo was still alive maybe he could be the police too.Wise men stand behind me, brave men stand beside me, but only fools stand against me.

Not at all suggesting that the drug dealing liar that started the thread should be hired... but the Adderal presrciption isn't necessarily a big deal. Especially since so many schools are practically demanding that kids be prescribed if they have even the littlest hint of ADD/ADHD. It should be evaluated during the medical and psychological processing -- but I doubt it's an absolute disqualifier.
You know, like lying about drug dealing is... or drug dealing itself is.

Thank you.
Hi Jks9199,
Thanks – that makes good sense, & of course I agree too, that in & of-itself it should be no big deal.the Adderal presrciption isn't necessarily a big deal … I doubt it's an absolute disqualifier.
I’d only said that I would think (and hope) any prospective employer would want to know why it was prescribed. It also wasn’t to a ‘little kid,’ but to a College student. Seemingly a bit late to diagnose A.D.D. and start medicating it. It could have even just been for hyperactivity – again, no big deal I suppose, unless leading-to and causing dysfunction.
Considering the approximate age at time of receiving the prescription (if true), I’d be very interested in what it was prescribed to treat.
( &nd incidentally, for the record, I think precious little of psychiatrists who seem to just want to medicate the tar out of people, rather than heal them. They’re worse than idiots. )"Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And when you look into an abyss, the abyss also looks into you."

I personally know an officer who suffers from ADD and is medicated for it, and he performs just fine.
In fact, he is one of the brightest and safest officers I know. I cannot say the same of him before he was treated.
As to the liar and dealer, he's been handled.I'm your huckleberry...

We are beating a dead horse here... Our drug dealing applicant is off of his ADHD meds. He probably forgot about this thread a long time ago, or at least stopped caring. By now I'm sure he is in the application process with the FD.
