I have yet to meet some good, decent honest people because so far all I've been coming across are people who are basically dishonest and corrupt.
I would just like to apologize for the incorrect assumption that I made about LEO's being intelligent, honest, knowledgeable, competent people. That was a false assumption on my part as there apparently is no evidence of that in the real world.
My apologies to everyone for that assumption.

Sure, as law enforcement officers faced daily with certain failures of the system that we admit are present within it, we can reach a point where we become frustrated ourselves with what we perceive as a failure of our system as a whole in protecting the people it is designed to shelter. However we do know that it is our faith in what we do that keeps us doing it, and it is the fact that we will not allow ourselves to become so wholly focused upon the failures that we, ourselves perceive to be present, which allows us the desire to carry on in the tradition of honor that we have subscribed ourselves to.
Sir, in essence, you have reached an obvious point of frustration, not only with a system that you believe no longer effectively serves its very intention, but also with seemingly even the society which that system was formed to preserve. From what you have posted here, I must strongly suggest that you seek out some means by which to renew your grasp on your faculties. Simplify the convoluted thought processes which are compelling you to believe that you are your only hope, and reach out to a professional counselor and/or behavioral health specialist in order to expand your thinking and return you to the belief that although yes, there are flaws in the world, those around you are really not the pervasive enemy that you perceive them to be.
In keeping with my general practice here at O/R, this is the one effort I will make to reach out to you in the spirit of common sense. Read the above, and allow yourself to relax any predisposition to defensiveness you may have. Realize that although you are disappointed with the circumstances that have led you to the state of mind you currently possess, you must also understand that you see what many others do, but are being compelled by your own volition into taking the tertiary to an extreme.

All of the principles that the United States was originally founded upon are basically worthless. I've been trying to fight back against crime both online and offline by setting boundaries (which is a healthy thing according to one psychiatrist that I have studied from) but from what I'm seeing a lot of people seem to have a problem that that general concept and so far all that people seem to be doing is proving that what psychologists say about all members of society (including LEO's) being crazy.
I'm not as stupid as you might think that I am. I've done a lot of study relating to psychology, human behavior, NLP and other related things and on numerous occasions I've sat in church and listened to the pastor talk about a lot of things that really made sense and that are based upon the Bible.
In one sermon he talked about how a lot of people tend to take the truth and turn it into a lie because it's easier to believe lies than the truth and in another sermon he mentioned that mental illness is becoming a major problem in the United States. I've also done some studies relating to criminal profiling and I have in the past taken law enforcement classes at a community college because at one time I seriously thought about entering the profession.
Because of the competitiveness of the profession and the difficulty of getting hired as well as my own entrepreneurial spirit I've given up on that idea in favor of doing things like trying to start my own businesses both online and offline, but because of certain events of a criminal nature that have occurred to me both online and offline I've been put in a very precarious position financially and that has interfered with my ability to defend myself properly and with my attempts to retrain myself for something other than over the road truck driving.
I know that it's going to be very hard for anyone to understand this, but I am just simply your average guy who happens to have learned a lot about both business and the opposite sex and who is just simply trying to start over after having driving truck over the road for over 5 years and who is trying to play the whole dating, mating, and relating game with with women while at the same time trying to find and meet decent, honest, trustworthy people that I can be friends with and network with both personally and professionally.
Stuff like that shouldn't be very hard to understand at all. Hell I've even learned a couple of really useful techniques from NLP that could even benefit LEO's when they respond to domestic disturbance calls.
Like Dr. Richard Bandler once said 'The map is not the territory' and like Albert Einstein once said 'The definition of crazy is doing the same things over and over again, but expecting different results'. Both of them are very smart and are worth listening to because they have a lot to teach people.
I think that each and every one of you should be asking one very basic question about as to why you choose to enter Law Enforcement because unless we as a society are doing everything that we can to raise the bar by raising our standards by holding corrupt individuals and companies accountable for their actions and punishing them according to what the law prescribes.
If we as a society are not doing that then we are guilty of contributing to the corruption and the crime instead of doing everything that we can to curb it and stop it.

What you don't want to do is get a gun and cuffs and try to catch bad guys on your lonesome. That's a recipe for all sorts of bad things...

That's the kind of stupid attitude that's going to cause us to be at war with North Korea and China and it's the kind of attitude that's making LEO's everywhere look like complete idiots by criminals.
No wonder why Law Enforcement is losing the war on crime.
If that's how you all feel, then perhaps it's time for all of you to turn in your badges and guns and get jobs as florists or something.
