Crime
I'm new to this forum and I've already briefly introduced myself in the introduction section.
I'm wondering as to what kinds of things a person can do to legally guard against crime both online and offline. I'm just curious because I've already been the victim of crime before both online and offline and because of one case that I was involved in I'm currently having a legal battle with Paypal.
I've done some security work in the past and I've been an over the road truck driver. Most of what I've learned about human behavior has come from studying seduction and attraction and other related topics relating to men and women, but apparently that's not enough and lately I've been looking to things like law enforcement, security and the martial arts as well as to things like psychology and NLP to help me to detect and deter crime by as much as possible because I don't want to be a victim and I'm trying to find ways of fighting back legally by as much as I can in an increasingly violent society.
I'm not really sure if I'm doing things right or not and that's why I'm seeking suggestions and advice from people that are in the know about such things.

You talked a lot, but didn't really ask a question that could be answered.

Can I cut to the chase? I recognize this loser from elsewhere.

Make a list of everything you've ever done in detail, then report to the nearest police precinct.

It’s okay for me to talk about my job, as long as I’m not specific. I am the Sergeant of a three-man Rapid Tactical Force at one of America’s largest indoor retail shopping areas. [And here the myth begins”] Although there are typically between fifteen and twenty normal security officers working the beat there, we decided a while ago that it would be best to have a specilized force for violent individuals. We use modified electric vehicles and can be anywhere on a given floor within eight and a half minutes.Naturally, the regular security people are unarmed. We “RTFers”, by arrangement with the local police, carry high-strength OC spray and batons. If we have a full tactical alert and permission from the local LEOs we also have a Mossberg 500 with less-lethal rounds and two K-frame Smith .38s loaded with 158gr. LRN.Basically, the situation is that we get the call, we lock up the situation, put everything five by five, and cordon the area until the local authorities arrive. We’re cops, we just don’t get the glory. [Somehow, I imagine the real police wouldn’t agree”]I am not permitted to carry Glocks on duty; however, when my wife picks me up from work I strap on the “Deadly Duo” of a 27 and 23, each with Bar-Sto .357 bblRick James hair was synthetic and smelled like weed and coochie.
BIG hates no one, but loves only a few. Franklin, Grant and yeah, Mom too.

OK -- I take it back. Rdonovan1 is a useful contributor: anyone that can give us an excuse to revisit the Mall Ninja is beneficial!

One thing that I'm currently working on is a lawsuit against Paypal because they failed to live up to their legal obligations and now they are trying to shift the blame onto me.
I ran into several online romance scams while I was an over the road truck driver while I was looking for love and romance with women and because of some of them I ended up losing a lot of money out of my own pocket believing that they were real.
Because of what I've been taught and what I've personally experienced with women I've learned to set boundaries. I ran into one guy through one girl that said that he would be willing to help me finance some business ideas if I helped him with a so called woman that he knew. I barely knew the guy, but I did understand as to where he was coming from and because of that I agreed to help him with his problem.
The company that I am currently fighting has a long history with the Federal government of violating Federal laws and national security laws and they've been fined for it on countless occasions by both the United States and Australian Governments.
One subject that has arisen out of all of this relates to private investigation and that's something that I don't know much about. I know that a person can get information about companies without appearing to be a stalker because that's public information, but it's totally different when it comes to private individuals that you don't know very well because of the way that the privacy laws are set up in the United States.
When it comes to individuals the best that I know that I can do is to just simply listen for keywords to try to determine if they might be lying to me about something.
I've also had at least one instance in my neighborhood where someone has tried to steal my car. I caught them at it, but at the time I couldn't do anything other than just yell at the guy.
I'm trying to improve my own personal security both online and offline while at the same time desiring to start my own businesses. It seems to be easier said than done at the moment and it seems to be really complicated.

I don't see as to how self defense and setting boundaries is crazy at all. LEO's do it all the time when they are out on the street enforcing the law.
