As a note, work on your grammar. Report writing is a large part of the academy, LE applicant testing, and the job itself.
I knew a guy once who worked at the jail who had a hot temper. It was always easy to piss him off. Plus he walked around and treated inmates like shit and acted like he knew everything.
Then he went and joined a police department and carried that attitude with him on the road. He got lousy DORs from his FTOs, because he had this "you can't teach me anything" attitude.
Then a sergeant pulled him aside. Discussed the issue with him. And said something to the effect of "You think you know something? You been on the road, what? A minute? What exactly do you think you know?"
His reply, "I don't know shit, Sarge."
"Good," said the Sergeant, "keep remembering that and let us teach you something."
I'm told he's been a great officer ever since.
And no, it wasn't me. I wish I wised up so quick. :)
I can't believe this thread is still going.
You must be new here :DQuote:

I used to teach security officers. If you've been to a certification course, we teach both proper care for a pepper spray subject, and how to clean equipment that has been contaminated. If you didn't learn that in your pepper spray certification course, your instructor is probably a 'tard.
If you didn't TAKE a certificaton course... well, you do the math.
Just an observation from a security instructor.
Never tarnish a badge, no matter what is says on it.
