Military referes to land warfare, Naval refers to sea warfare.
The Army and AF are military the sea services are naval.
The 1947 UCMJ confused the issue by calling all subjects military to save print.
I certainly did not mean to offend.
Anyway this what I was taught in 1964. The USNI, AF, Intellegence and Army publications still make the differation.
I am an LEO by choice. I like knowing the people who do this job. We have a lot of fun and there is nothing like shared experiance to form close bonds. I have my Army pension and do not need money.
