My Dad was a Naval Avator in WW11. He was always careful to make the distinction.
Later he was a pilot by CAA, FAA and AAL regs.

ghostsix, let me put it this way. In many accounts detailing 9/11, cops (both NYPD and others) from all over state that their mission objectives were to go into the site to save the lives of "civilians." Are those guys wannabes?

If that's what chiefs in that part of the country normally wear -- he hasn't.
He's not claiming to be 4 star general; he's claiming to be a police chief.
Or, does the PFC stripe on my uniform (or Police Private First Class) mean that I'm trying to impersonate a soldier? The navy blue uniform that says police on it... That's just a little misdirection?
Dude, you've got your head stuck up your ass about some silly issues that don't matter. And your stories and claims ain't adding up, either!
