New member in Portland, OR
Stumbled across this site over on Perfect Union and thought I'd sign up. I'm a medically retired 28-year veteran of Portland 9-1-1, where I dispatched Portland Police, Multnomah County DPS, Gresham Police, Troutdale Police, and Fairview Police, as well as Portland and Gresham Fire Departments and C/3 AMR runs. I started out in 1976 when there were still some radios with tubes in use and my last day we were on 800Mhz trunked. I also enjoyed a few weeks as #1 in seniority, which got me prime days off and thats it. Looking forward to mixing in and hopefully contributing a different point of view from most civilians.

Thanks for taking the time to say hello! Its now 0100, 32F exactly, and its raining. Fast turning into a skating rink outside. If I was working I'd have PGE and PP+L's numbers memorized and be telling noise complaints we're not going on those...
