Hello To All
Hello Everyone!
I'm a new hire with Anne Arundel County Sheriffs Dept in Maryland.
My start date is 12/14/06 and I'm scheduled for the academy in early January.I will be 40 yrs old in February,so I expect to get some grief about that but other than that I'm very excited about my new career.Any advise you could give would be great.I also would like to know if anybody has any info on MPTC in Sykesville Maryland.

Welcome to LEF and congrats on the academy. I was close to getting on with Anne Arundel County Police but when I heard Janet whats hername laid off an entire academy class weeks before graduating, I decided to stay in the Burgh..
Very nice area ...
