I'm here- now what!
Ok so I'm thinking abouyt making the move from O.com to here permanently.. I'm not allowed to be on these sites by our GO's speaking with the media so I can't be verified.
If that's a problem I'll leave- I don't need or want any trouble. We've had a couple guys suspended for being on MySpace and a coule got write ups for going to The Thin Blue Line abd I don't need the hassle. Mods let me know if this is a problem.

Now what??? Well now you'll have to catch up on all the threads that you've missed... so start reading. Start giving rep to those most worthy.
Make sure you don't use any green smilies.
Post often so we can all see how wise you are.
Make sure you praise the mods often. (One of them threatened me with a wet noodle...so be careful)
Make sure you mention someone named "BRAD" in every one of your posts about strange people.
I'm sure that will give you plenty to do for awhile...and welcome.

Police Officers put themselves at risk for strangers every day. Some do not make it home to their families. Next time you think of saying something negative about the police, remember...YOU are one of the strangers.

Good to see you here rohan, I don't believe MetcoPUK is posting on here and if he is, he isn't nearly as much of a trouble maker.

Welcome!

A Smile
A smile cost nothing, but gives so much.
It enriches those who receive it,without making poorer those who give.It takes but a moment, but the memoryof it sometimes lasts forever.
None is so rich or mighty that hecan get along without it,and none is so poor but thathe can be made rich by it.
A smile creates happiness in the home, fosters goodwill in business, and is the countersign of friendship.
It brings rest to the weary, cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad,and it is nature's best antidote for trouble.
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed,or stolen, for it is something that is of novalue to anyone until it is given away.
Some people are too tired to give you a smile.Give them one of yours, as none needs a smileso much as he who has no more to give.

Actually, Rohan, per the TOS, anyone claiming to be a law enforcement officer is reuquired to be verified on the site. It is completely unintrusive (PM me or any other staff member for details), and no one knows where you actually work or your name unless you tell them (apart from the mods of course). I'm betting those guys you mentioned got into trouble for IDENTIFYING themselves where they posted. No one requires you do that here, EXCEPT for verification purposes. It would NOT serve the purposes of this site in ANY way shape or form for us to misuse your information. Any mishandling of LEO info would give us a bad rep and the credibility of the site would be damaged. There's not a single LEO here who would find problems with our verification process.
Long story short, if you refuse to be verified but claim you are an LEO, you will be banned. Simple as that. It is necessary to maintain the integrity of the site, and serves to distinguish us from Other sites where anyone and everyone claim they're the po po."If anything worthwhile comes of this tragedy, it should be the realization by every citizen that often the only thing that stands between them and losing everything they hold dear... is the man wearing a badge." -- Ronald Reagan, in the wake of the deaths of 4 CHP troopers in the Newhall Incident, 1970
The opinions given in my posts DO NOT reflect the opinions, views, policies, and/or procedures of my employing agency. They are my personal opinions only, thereby releasing my agency of any liability, or involvement in anything posted under the username "121Traffic" on O/R.
