    hey everyone

    hey everyone, i dont know if any of you remember me. im a 19 year old from new mexico on my way to becoming a patrolman or something in the criminal justice field. i recently just been hired as a detention officer at the local county jail. so far its not all that bad. but its just until i finish school or turn 21. well hope everyone here is doing good. bye folks

    Congrats. (Did you know that there are agencies in NM that will pick you up at age 19?) Like TorC, Hatch and plenty of others!

    thanks for the info, i didnt know that. hatch is kinda far from where i live though. i dont think id be able to move.

    Theres others out there not just Hatch. What you can do is contact different cities Human Resource Office and ask if they are hiring. Or do a seach via a internet search engine and see if they have a website. Last I heard Truth or Consequences was looking for a new officer. Maybe one of the cities out near Roswell or even a Sheriffs' Office will pick you up. Just have to look they are out there!
