    Howdy

    The short form: I served 27 years as a Special Agent, U.S. Treasury Dept, U.S. Customs Office of Investigations (now ICE). I got around a bit, serving in Boston, San Diego, Tucson (at our academy as the lead Firearms/Officer Survival instructor), and Sells, AZ, on the border Southwest of Tucson. While there, I was made an honorary member of the Shadow Pack - our Native American patrol force.

    I also was one of the first officers sent out as a Sky Marshal (1970), visiting 11 countries. Then I was sent overseas to train other Customs Services.

    The two other high points (beyond the Shadow Pack) of my career:
    Trained over 5,000 officers in use of firearms, never lost one in a gunfight.
    Made right at 1,000 felony arrests, had 999 convictions or guilty pleas.
    Survival is the only Victory!
