I am the imaginary father of "maclean" and several other LEO or Military type children. I spent 29 years with the King County Sheriff's Office in Seattle. I started out working in the jail and finally retired after three small strokes as Chief of CID. I wanted to stay longer (like 35 years) but my doc said go home or die.....so I went.
I did just about everything I wanted to do except SWAT and Motors. I worked the Green River Serial Homicide case and others and have way too much time chasing serial killers. I loved just about all of it.....but in retrospect, I should have remained a Sergeant and worked major crimes till I dropped in the traces. It would have saved me the strokes.
I hope to meet all of you and share what I love about people who do what others can't or won't while wearing a badge.
