Hell try to read the damn expiration date on those tags suck ass. Why they put it in the middle between the letters and numbers vertically which makes it a bitch to read.
Texas got rid of expiration dates on our car tags long ago - Now it's just on the windshield sticker. The new stickers don't even have sticky stuff on them to prevent removal - They're stuck on the windshield by a big peice of ugly tape.
You should see our personalized tags now - They're printed with a laser printer at the tax office. The lettering is flat - Looks like they'd be very easy to make at home on a computer printer.
We have some real brainiacs down in Austin deciding these things, apparently.
