    Smile Hi to all from Germantown, Wisconsin

    Hi all,

    I'm Greg Young the chaplain, debriefer, and a trainer with the Germantown Wisconsin Police Department. I am a trainer in CISM, and train police departments in the area in how to make compassionate death notifications. I also respond to especially difficult critical incidents for the Washington County M.E.'s office. I respond to local/regional/national disasters. (I was deployed to the gulf coast in the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, as I am sure many of you were.)

    In my other life I like to play with chainsaws. I do chainsaw carving exhibitions for Cabela's, for their huge store grand openings, Duck's unlimited, etc.

    Because I am being asked to offer the death notification to other agencies I am always seeking officers experiences good/bad in making notifications. If you have any experiences that you would like to share, (in a general way that wouldn't disclose too much personal information), I would like to hear from you.
