Hello from Nebraska!!
Hello to all,
I'm Duane and have been a Police Officer for 2 1/2 years just north of Omaha, Nebraska. I worked as a Security Manager at a casino for 8 years prior to that. I jumped into Law Enforcement a little later than most do, but it wasn't for lack of trying... I enjoy being an Officer and have really learned a lot about myself since I became one. I'm married with a step-son and two Scottish Terriers. I keep very busy and currently work nights, but our department rotates shifts every three months, so I'll be moving to days in a week or so. I found this site purely by accident and really enjoy reading the forums and hope to add something to the site as I move forward.Courage is almost a contradiction in terms. It means a strong desire to live taking the form of readiness to die.
If you are ashamed to stand by your colors, you had better seek another flag.
