law enforcement job in us
hi all,
i`m a 27 year old SAR officer.since 1998 i started as a patrol officer at rescue 911 in namibia.i am german nationality and speak 3 languages.for the last 6 month i was working as an URO (undercover response officer)of the special response unit in namibia .i`ve also got military background.i would like to know how the possibilities are, for me to join in law enforcement in the us?for more information about me and my qualifications you are welcome to visit my homepage: www.response-unit.de.tl

You will need to obtain US citizenship for a law enforcement job in the US.

Is that the Armed Response that is provided by Chubb Security in Namibia?

no,we git nothing to do with south africa or chubb.we were the resue 911 squad until 2005,when g4s bought us up and privatesiced us.now we are doing the work for and"with the municipal police"

yea you could say so,we are the so called bullet catcher.always first on every scene and the thanks is ,no bebefits at all with low py like all the law enforcement jobs in namibia.thats why i would like to move to the states and work there,i will always want to stay in law enforcement , it`s that one thing that i really can do and i`m enjoing it!-but one should also be able to survive with your loan.

Thanks for the explanation, and welcome to the site.
In the United States, most jurisdictions will require that you be a US Citizen to be an LEO.
In those jurisdictions that do not, you will be required to be at least a resident alien to carry a firearm.
