:yo: Just want to say hi and that I'm glad to be on this forum.
I've been involved in martial arts for years first starting in high school and college wrestling. Along the way I lived in Italy for 2 years and competed in Greco Roman wrestling. Then learned sport Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu(ground fighting), Russian SAMBO(lots of leglocks) and Catch Wrestling which deals with a lot of brutal submissions with the neck(chokes & neck cranks, feet, ankles, hips etc. etc. I now teach the relatively new sport of Submission Grappling. Submission Grappling is a no-gi sport that envolves free style wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo No-gi, Russian SAMBO, Greco Roman Wrestling and Catch Wrestling. You can see it's a hybrid of grappling arts. Because I had practiced all those grappling arts I fit right in with Submission Grappling also called Submission Wrestling. Tournaments are held all over the U.S. and there is also a world championship of Submission Grappling.
I've also been involved in teaching police arrest and control techniques for some time now. Will be going to Mexico soon to teach Submission Grappling and arrest and control techniques to the Federal police down there.
